Stylish, 7 bedroom hotel just outside the village of Macharaviaya. Construction was completed in 1999 and opened for the millenium as a boutique hotel, south facing and with views of the Mediterranean, the mountains, the village and historic church of Macharaviaya, home to the illustrious Gálvez family. It was the birthplace of Bernardo de Gálvez, Viceroy of the Americas and hero of the American war of Independence. Macharaviaya is twinned with Pensacola, Florida, and each year a delegation from Pensacola visits Macharaviaya to pay homage to Bernardo de Gálvez, whose monument and statue in bronze dominate the entrance to the village. The hotel is situated just 10 minutes drive from the coast at the popular resort of Rincón de la Victoria, 30 minutes from Malaga International Airport and the city of Málaga. Constructed area is 400m approx and comprises reception with dining area and guest WC´s, Fully fitted kitchen with range gas cooker and door to rear terrace, 2 double ensuite bedrooms on the lower floor, stairs up to the remaining bedrooms all with Juliet balcony or balcony terrace and Ensuite bathrooms and fitted wardrobes, Bedroom 7 is currently used at the owners private lounge, another stair case takes us up to the very large roof terrace with stunning views across the countryside and down to the sea.
